Recladding Projects

At Halliday Meecham Architects we have delivered a number of projects funded by Department of Levelling Up for Housing Communities (DLUHC) or developer led, to remove significant fire risk to existing buildings and protect leaseholders from the costs of addressing inherent life safety fire risks associated with the external cladding. Projects often incorporate thermal improvements to the external building fabric as well as delivering compliant details to support the government’s Net Zero Carbon Targets.

Working with existing structures is an important to Halliday Meecham Architects with the recladding of high rise buildings for fire safety, thermal upgrades, compliance, weather protection or aesthetic reasons governing the viability of projects.

Typically our role extends through the Pre Construction and Construction phase with works planned and delivered within a live occupied building.
